Carla Bosch was born in Pretoria on 14 January 1976. She matriculated at the Overkruin High School and thereafter studied interior decorating at the Pretoria Technikon.

Although Carla is a self-taught artist, she gets a lot of encouragement and guidance from her father, the artist Anton Bosch. She paints mainly in bold acrylics. Her favorite subject matter are landscapes and street- and nautical scenes. Though she is a young artist, she has exhibited with many established South African artists, participating in exhibitions throughout South Africa. Her art is also well represented in many corporate and private collections, both nationally and internationally.
